Really Important news, Gracie Elite Re-Opening!!!

Really Important news, Gracie Elite Re-Opening!!!

Hi Gracie Elite Members,

We are so excited that we are finally able to re-open the gym on Monday 15th June 2020!!!

The first class will be the kids class at 4pm, followed by the second kids class at 5pm! Then the adults 6pm and 7pm! Please check the timetable on the website for a full list of classes.

However, there will be some changes.

To start off with the classes will be non-contact, in these classes we will be using dummies, medicine balls, fitness exercises and learning techniques. Great for beginners and advanced. As we have decided to re-open in Stage 2 as opposed to Stage 3, we have had to modify our training. It is important for us to get our students back into the gym and training again. Once Stage 3 happens, there will be further changes made.

Members that currently live in the same household will be able to train together, social distancing while training will not apply.

Class sizes will be limited to 9 students and 1 coach.

The timetable has changed (for the time being), you will need to book into the class through the website from Friday this week –

More classes will be added to the timetable once we have reopened.

Due to the size of our gym, we will be able to have 2 classes running at the same time, one on each side.

Classes will run for 45 minutes, this gives us time to clean the mats between the classes. Please do not enter the gym until 5 minutes before your class is due to start, if you arrive early please wait outside the building. Once your class has finished, please leave the gym straight away, this will help control the amount of people in the gym.

As well as cleaning the mats between every class, with the recommended Covid-19 disinfectant, we have implemented extra cleaning within the gym.

Parents, if possible, please drop your child off and wait outside the building.

Please make sure that you come to the gym, dressed in appropriate gear for your class, this will help reduce the number of people in the change rooms.

As you arrive at the gym for your class, you need to sanitise your hands at the entry door to the gym. Then your temperature will be taken. You will also need to sign the register.

Please stay at home if you are unwell. Please keep children at home if they are showing any signs or symptoms of being unwell.

As per government guidelines, social distancing must be carried out within our gym at all times. We have marked the mats, the seats and the reception area to assist with this.

To make things easier, we will have one entry for the gym and a separate exit. The entry will be through the back car park and the exit will be through the front door which leads to Penrose Crescent, you will then be able to walk back to the car park.

Since we closed all the memberships were frozen, we want to let everyone know that they will be re-activated from the week we re-open. All the online memberships will be cancelled from when the other memberships are re-activated.

We will be continuing to offer the online learning and it will be free for members. If you would prefer to continue with the online learning instead of training in the gym, please contact us and we can arrange this for you.

If you have been experiencing any financial hardship, we are happy to support you through this time, please contact us via phone or email to discuss.

If you need to cancel or suspend your membership, please respond to this email and advise us (we will then send you the paperwork to complete) but you must also call 0423 615 480 and speak to us in person (we just need to make sure that emails are not lost). We are doing this, so people don’t need to come into the gym to complete the paperwork.

We can’t wait to see everyone and we would like to thank everyone for their support and patience.

If you have any questions or queries, please don’t hesitate to call me – 0423 615 480

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Tiago Ferreira.
